release the Lions
We went to see a castle here in the French part of Switzerland.
It was so cool, there were two hill/cliffs and on one was a fortified monastery(pic#1)
and on the other was a castle(pic#2)
and we were able to climb up to both and look around, totally cool.
so here are some pics we took while up there.

here is view of the
Monastery from one of the
arrow holes in the outer wall of
the castle.

We also got to stop and see an old Roman arena, like where gladiators used to fight, the acoustics are amazing if you go down into the arena its like speaking into a PA system, thats how good the acoustics are.
me and jaime played some Lions and Christians games, of course she had no idea why i was chasing her but she had great fun.
apparently the romans had their own little version of 300 happen here in this town battling the Celtic or Gaulish tribes here.

When we went to the arena there was a massive puddle in the middle of it, I thought if we blocked up the sides we could make a pool, that would make for awesome parties.
I know what you mean about the acoustics there, it's incredible.
OH the Saint Bernard museum's right next to it, did you see the doggies?

No, we didn't get to see them. we didn't have much time & we wanted to see the castle in Sion. Ya i thought it would be cool if we would do a play there of Christians & romans or something. I'd be the lion.
