Hockey night in Canada

Except this time it was hockey day in Switzerland.
For the family birthday we went to a hockey rink with the other home here, it was so fun i really miss playing.
Of course since we havent played in years we pretty much sucked but most of the other people playing had no idea what they were doing so we didn't look so bad.
The Swiss aren't so into hockey, they skate but hockey is not really a big thing for them, they are more into skiing and snowboarding and hiking etc.
It would have been so cool if Kiran could have been there we could have played me and him vs everyone else it would have been so much fun. also if Nay was there so we could have actually had a goalie, actually it would have been cool to have Priyas whole family playing, anyhoo here are a few pictures.

after a long time

.
Due to the extreme fruitiness of our internet connection, we haven't been able to get online in over a week, hence the absence of letters of love for valentines & posts of our recent happiness/sadness. well we had a great valentines. i woke up at the butt crack of dawn with one of the jt boys to make pink heart shaped pancakes( that killed Nick's, sorry Nick), pink French toast, pink milk, & yes a bunch of ppl asked if it was strawberry ptl for brains, chocolate sauce & one that had chili in it, that was good, maple syrup, jam , pb & i think that was it. anyways it rocked & i stuffed myself like usual. i got my first pair of black fur handcuffs, but I'm sure you don't want to know that, & i gave Arthur a beer with some chocolate chip cookies & such. anyways Jaime pulled a great move & dove on the stove while i was doing dishes with her. i know it's my fault & i felt like a complete idiot but the Lord forgave me & even though it was an expensive lesson, i hope I've moved up to the next level of parenting smartness. She burnt her palm & fingers pretty bad & spend the rest of the morning crying. she finally cried herself to sleep & we took her to the hospital where they cleaned it & when she woke up she burst the huge blister showering me in nasty yellow stuff, but ptl she was happy for the rest of the afternoon. It's doing alot better & ptl it didn't get infected, but poor baby had to have it in a cast thing for a week. Well on to the more recent events the feast was great & so was the family birthday. By the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAMILY PPL WE ROCK. even though i wasnt even alive for half of our existance, I'm so proud to be a family person. We went to the home in zuirch & played ice hockey (our home against their home & we killed them, many triumphant feelings to be had) I skated with Jaime in her stroller for awhile which she loved & then i put her on the ice & she slid on her shoes while i pulled her around. i thought we had an ok dinner with some good deserts, until i happend upon some swiss thing which slightly resembles quiche but sweet & soggy & so nasty you wanna die when it touches your taste buds. anyways i recovered with many bowls of ice cream ttl. Jaime had a good many sips of wine & happily stumbled around for the rest of the evening, ok it wasn't all my fault I only gave her maybe half of it.
oh ya also in a moment of priyaness i decided to take some dull scissors to my hair & give me a new look. which resulted in a off centered & uneven hair cut, but it's not so bad & hair does grow, but i think next time I'll use the excuse that i was defending myself against a robber with shears.
anyways i'll put more pics when i get them off my camera. i just put Jaime to sleep & i wanna go eat. xxx & many loves

Trip to Austria

Here are some pictures from our three Day road trip to the homeland of Arnie Schwarzenegger , and the Von Traps.
I won't lie and say that the country was beautiful cause it was raining the whole time and the cities we were in were pretty depressing, but the people there were very sweet contrary to my preordained opinion of them.
They weren't that whole butch German kind of thing, almost all of them spoke English (which for me is sweet) and they were super helpful and it was alot of fun witnessing to them.
we ate lots of pizza, actually this whole area Switzerland, Germany, and Austria they are really into Italian food, and even though pizza came from Italy id still take an American pizza any day over it.

If you think about it America has managed to take most countries traditional foods and make them twice as good and then hand it back to them.
i mean tex mex whoops Mexican food,
they didn't even try to make anything out of Brazilian food cause its just too nasty, and American Chinese beats anything that comes outta china, and the list goes on.
God bless'm!

anyway it was a good trip.

Some French guy thought he was so cool he didn't need to park where everyone else does, so he parked his car in the middle of the entrance to the parking lot.

you can't see so well but that is a French license plate.

This is all of us. We got some random chick to take a picture of us.
she was probably thinking " these dumb ass tourists, who wants a picture in front of a gas station." ah were all just happy to be going home.
