This is Jaime's current favorite song. She always sings it around the house & such so we bought the album so she can listen to them in the car. She always asks questions like why is the boy gonna cry & stuff. she's such a cutie.
Sooooooooooooooo..............I quit my last job at Club Monaco......... SCORE!!!!!! cuz even though the pay was okish it was booooooooring & i hate fashion. Anyways I got a new job at 1410, which is a awesome restaurant & international bierhaus, & one of the most coveted serving places in calgary. I like serving alot though long hours in heels are death to my soul, the tips are great & it's a challenge to remember the 50000000 things to do & such. Anyways thus & therefore I'm busy like Chewie's nuts trying to breathe amongst me & Arthur working plus Jaime & her school & house stuff, ptl for His strength & energy & soaking my feet in hot water. Thanks a million Mom, Mia, Cookie & Wiggy for always helping us with Jaime. I feel like such a loser mom for taking off so much, but I love you more than cold beer & snyder pretzel bits & i'll try to return the favors. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
My little princess is now 3. & I do have to say this year was my favorite of all her birthday parties. That morning we got up & made pink heart pancakes for bfast & then had a morning of playing & such. In the afternoon Arthur & Maria took her & Alice to see Princess & the Frog. Neither of them had ever been to a theater & apparently it was a hit. I stayed home & amidst my moshing to offspring managed to get stuff ready for her princess party. We had pizza & garlic bread & salad ( all of which Jaime took one bite of & said she was full) We ( & by we I mean not me) played pin the princess in the tower, made some princess septers, & had a treasure hunt. We made the world's toughest pinata a week earlier & it had so much glue in it that they couldnt beat it up, so we settled for knocking it down & tearing it up (think ur tough now) Then came the presents, or Christmas part 2. Jaime has never had so many birthday presents & they were all princessy stuff ( my poor baby's gonna be a mall rat)....no, thanks guys for all getting her something, it was sooooo sweet of u guys. Even her grandma from Toronto sent something. & then..........the cake. I experimently made a baked alaska Aurora cake. It had 3 different kinds of ice cream & 2 chocolate cake layers. I made her clothes & some roses out of fondant which was also my first time doing that. ( VJ happily took the job of eating the Aurora barbie's clothes off) & then we had a popcorn cake & ice cream in cones. Again Jaime due to eating waaaay too much snacks at the cinema didn't really touch much of it, but it's ok I'm still wokring on greedily finishing it off. Jaime was so excited the whole week b4 her birthday & I wanted to really make it extra special for her. She's so cute & girly ( did not get it from me........????arthur??????hahaha) She always wants to wear her princess dress & make up & nail polish & perfume & such. I keep trying to tell her that being pretty is in her attitude, but I'm still working on that one. Overall I think it was a hit. Jaime, I love you sooooo much. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how perfect & amazing you are. I don't even want to imagine life without you, because it wouldn't be worth living. You are the reason I feel whole & fulfilled. You are the world to me & I hope you always know that I would do anything for you. xxx
A family day at the mall, where Chad's the manager.... Lord what is this world coming to Me & Arthur took my parents out for my mom's 54th birthday. They had never been to a sushi restaurant ( my dad wasn't too distraught bout that) so we went out for sushi & beer. course the guys just made weird faces & ordered steak, but i saw them sneaking a few pieces when i wasn't looking. We tried out a bunch of Jap beers which while not tasting even a tiny bit as good as good old canuck stuff was waay better than our river swimming friends from down south ( no offense to all you beaners). I had been CRAVING sushi like mad & the sushi was legen...wait for it...dary!
