other such things

She's practically totally potty trained & when she's with us she stays dry all day. She loves animals & isn't afraid of them. She just runs up to any dog or cat & tries to give it a hug.

Just some recent pics & such. Jaime is so cute & big. She loves to sing. She looks just like a ewok cuz she always makes that sound they do & has huge pointy ears.

She's so sweet & loves to hug & kiss everyone.

Just recent stuff

Just some pics from the last week. Had my first chocolate fondue that I made myself. It was super nice & we had lots of fun being foolish & talking. I melted some chocolates this guy had given me for mother's day ( they were pretty nasty, but it's the thought that counts & it was really sweet, thanks N____, good thing he doesn't read my blog) anyways they had lots of alcohol in them & then i put wine & some milk, cuz i didn't have cream, & a bit a butter & sugar & some other dark chocolates. It turned out pretty good & we drank our good ol' favorite $1.99 wine with it. It was swell. I tried to have fondue fingers, but after burning my fingers too many times, i gave up on that one.

Anyways another thing is that WE ARE FINALLY MOVING!!!! I feel like celebrating just to say it. After 6 months of looking for a home, we finally found one. Hopefully we'll be able to move by mid June.

here's some pics of Jaime, who is getting so cute & smart. She loves being outside picking a part flowers. She's really into animals & isn't afraid of them. She'll just go up to them & try to give them hugs. She loves babies & singing TA songs & coloring. I drew all her favorite animals & put them up with the words. I'm hoping for an Einstein, but i know she'll be perfect anyway.

There isn’t a day of the year that you aren’t special to me mom.
My mom is the best in world...& I know everyone says that about their moms, but that's cuz they never had my mom for a mother, then they'd know the truth.
Mom, i love you so much & I am so thankful I did one thing right when I chose to be your daughter. Thanks for teaching me so much about life, though I was probably your worst student, due to the fact I don't listen, you still had patience with me, & put up with all my retardedness. You're my role model mom, & I hope i can be to jaime what you've been to me. i love you tons.

Some random quotes

The hand that rocks the cradle usually is attached to someone who isn't getting enough sleep."- John Fiebig

"I'd like to be the ideal mother, but I'm too busy raising my kids."- Unknown

The mother of three notoriously unruly youngsters was asked whether or not she'd have children if she had it to do over again. "Yes," she replied. "But not the same ones."- David Finkelstein

A little boy forgot his lines in a Sunday school presentation. His mother was in the front row to prompt him. She gestured and formed the words silently with her lips, but it did not help. Her son's memory was blank. Finally, she leaned forward and whispered the cue, "I am the light of the world." The child beamed and with great feeling and a loud clear voice said, "My mother is the light of the world." - Bits and Pieces, 1989

A teacher gave her class of second graders a lesson on the magnet and what it does. The next day in a written test, she included this question: "My full name has six letters. The first one is M. I pick up things. What am I?" When the test papers were turned in, the teacher was astonished to find that almost 50 percent of the students answered the question with the word Mother- Unknown

the jaiminator

here's a few pics we took of Jaime this past week. her new favorites are doing push ups, picking flowers to bits, playing with her balloon, teasing Lawrence that he can't nurse, & dancing to numa numa. She's so smart & loves to sing. She sings every time she sees an object that's in a song, like 'twinkle twinkle' when she sees a star, & 'the bible' when she sees a bible, & 'umbrella' by rianna when she sees an umbrella (totally not my fault, blame arthur).
