So we went to some island somewhere, & yes I know I'm so specific, for our W&R, happily dragging my parents, Vijay, Phil, Vikki, & Guita with us. The boat we had to take to get there took like 40 mins, all the time I was on the lookout for a shark fin or jumping dolphins or something of the like, unfortunately at the end my dad told me there aren't lots of man eating creatures around here. When we got there very much wanting to swim to escape the heat that was melting our brain cells, to our near pissed off-ness we found there to be many happy Filipinos eating their one true love ( which really happens to be pork) & crowding our lusted after spot. So we improvise, after all the place is an island. Then some lady whose distant cousin could very well be pooh bear offered to take us to the island across the water in her canoe thingy with a motor. The water was so clear & turquoise as we splashed along though My mom didn't want me to hold Jaime in case we fell overboard, so I snapped pictures of random things all the way. Anyways this next place was great & rather people & pig free, always a plus, Jaimers got kinda too much sun on her bald head & I had great time carrying out shark attacks on Guita & diving off some guy's boat while trying to push Vijay off. We had a great day & Jaime celebrated by peeing & yaking all over Vicki. After capturing & returning all our five legged captives back to the wild, swimming our arms off, eating something random we brought, having some good Jesus & me time, playing counter strike with water guns, & morphing a shade darker, we headed home feeling rather like Tuleo & Miguel. Now please pass the sun lotion.
We went to a really nice beach with clear water like clear you can see 200 ft down, & tons of fish & starfish & stuff, but this is not it. This beach was wrong, the water was brown & it had tons of rocks & stuff. I tried to swim but gave up after imagining the nasty things under the water with potential to eat me. Jaime was happy as always to swim, but after finding rather sick things Arthur took her out. After coming out & showering, before the dirt went to my brain & turned me brown, we had some good mango shakes & walked through the little village we were in to find some pan de coco- english- bread with fluorescence orange coconut stuff in it. The beach is called Seagull beach; God knows why there wasn't any seagulls, just brown trout. Anyway after deciding not to go there anymore, we went home to our forever freezing showers. :) Such is the life in Davao. I love it, but Jaime on the other hand hates the heat & would rather sulk & be miserable. She's getting used to it now, but still dreams about nice Toronto coldness I'm sure.
We went shopping with Crys to get stuff for ppl in the pilipines. Last time I saw her before we left. Love you so much sis. Then she dyed my hair rather stankly, but I survived, all the wiser when around Crys & hair dye.
