| My 19th birthday |

 something else Cookie caught. We got so many stings from eels, jelly fish, & other things.

I had a great birthday which lasted for about a week, cuz everyday or night we'd do something special. We sang, swam, ate, played, watched, & so on, not to mention slept (yes!) something which has been very much lacking in the past little while with all this robber stuff. We have a guard patrolling our house now all night, till we get the cash for bars. I can't believe I made it this old, of course my mom never fails to remind me that I'm still just a a baby with a baby. Jaime is getting so big. She wears all her cousins clothes, he is 2, & she loves action whether it be fighting off her uncles, or playing soccer with us, or moshing to some tunes, she can't move enough. |

| My poor baby |
Jaime has been quite sick with a mix of teething & some nasty childhood disease that's going around. She's still so sweet & friendly though & when we go out ppl here call her Barbie. They all take pics of her on their cell phones, & try to hold & kiss her. She can sit up by herself, & eats anything & everything that goes near her. |

| Well, I guess all things do work together for good to them that love God, but in some situations it sure is hard to see it. We have been robbed 3 times in the past little while, last night, the day before, & the week before. Praise the Lord that all they took was a laptop, 4 cell phones, & cash instead of the kids. No, I'm not joking they do that here, actually quite a few ppl here have warned us to watch our kids really carefully, cause kidnappers here are a real reality, & our cute white kids are prime targets. We plan to get steel bars across the windows, a dog or two, & lots of extra angels via the Heavenly mercenary service, you just got to pay them in edible halos or something. Anyways please we could use your prayers & if you could ask your homes to maybe send their missionary gifts this way, we could really use it to cover the costs of barring our windows & getting a dog, too bad they're not cheap here, you can send your gifts to PH 25 & anyone else can write the_tuby_pope02@yahoo.ca about sending help, a.k.a cash. I know the Lord will keep us & not let anything happen that isn't part of His plan, but we are trying to do what we can, so He can do what we can't, & yes you can do something too. :) |
