Tampico & stuff

on the 25th of June Chris & Stephy got married which was the reason we came to Tampico. Me & the girls decorated the church & though the power was off that day which made for very sweaty getting ready & some other random problems, once we got to the little chapel it was all amazing. Arthur was the best man & I was the best....... nothing, but it was a really fun wedding & Stephy will probably have the whole thing on her blog. I don't have a lot of pics cuz my batteries died early & i can't believe I don't have any of the bride ( please don't kill me Stephy.) I dyed my hair red the night b4, so i didn't get lost amongst the dark haired throngs, not to mention I was wearing a bright turquoise dress. We had lots of wine & dancing & eating & Jaime had tons of fun, mainly harassing the little mexican kids, eating cake, & dancing. After everyone went home some of us went to the beach for our own after party, which was sick ( meaning cool to all you english readers) & very sandy & naked, but I'll leave the rest to your imagination..hehe.

FOr my 21st birthday Arthur took me out to TGI friday's for dinner & drinks, (thanks Babe it was so nice) which is the first time we've ever done that since we've been together, & then I went out bowling with the young ppl here. I got the highest score in my group...yeah...& like the third or something overall. Marianne, Niki, Jules, & me found a new improved lucky way to bowl but it wasn't GP so I'll stop right here...haha..then we came home & they surprised me with a cake they made ( thanks so much Jules xxxx) & i went to watch a movie with my Hubby. Overall it was a really fun birthday & i went to sleep a very happy & slappy 21 yr old.

To the two bestest Dad's ever!
To my Dad, who is by far the most amazing, patient, sweet, funny, cool, understanding, smart, easy going, wise, loving Dad I could have ever wanted. Somehow through each stage of my life, you managed to be everything I needed in a father. I've always thought I was sooooo lucky to have you as my Dad & as I meet more & more ppl's Dads I can only agree with myself more. I love you & miss you tons. Xoxoxoxo I hope today is really special cuz you deserve the best.

Thanks Baby for being the best in the world. I probably say this every Father's day, but I mean it more each year. You're just what I needed to help me raise our crazy daughter, & for for sures just what she needed to love her, teach her, care for her, & keep her from making me go crazy. Thank you for always being here. Thank you for making me & Jaime the luckiest girls ever. XXX We love you !!!

noooooooooo
The count down is on & my birthday is on Saturday. Ugh is all I can think of. 21 the dreaded number of all numbers is upon me & of all the places to have it I'm a stranger in sweat....ugh again. Ptl I'm trying to be all happy & praiseful I don't know if it's working. Anyways I don't know why I felt the need to share that with you all. I should probably go I hear Jaime hollering in the background that her book is in Spanish & she "needs English." This morning she woke up & gave me a hug & said,"Mom I just wanted to thank you for being big." She's so amazing. She can already read all preschool & kindergarten books, & can do simple math. She's trying to adjust to this heat, but it's really hard for her especially at night. I can't believe how hot it is here, & I thought the Philippines was bad-PI times 10 =here.....death. Anyways back to me-my favorite subject- I will survive.

Wicked....yes yes

&

I can't get the captions on the right pics cuz everytime i try they always end up on some other random pics so i'm not going to even bother. We had the most awesome week in Muskoka with my family. It's the first time we've been together since I was 10 & the first time for most of us to meet our nieces & nephews & so on. My grandparents on my mom's side were also there so we had 4 generations. We stayed at Creepy's granny's cottage way out in Muskoka & dude....sweet... The weather was still kinda cold so we didnt swim much but we did plenty of other tenses out things such as caboozing, (canoeing with booze) going on the titanic ,(the boat we all packed into only to find there was a hole in the back) drinking, (I've had enough beer to last me for months), BBQing, drowning, going to a sports bar to watch the Pens gets trashed by Detroit & more. There was 23 of us so we had the hordes to cook for but we managed to pull off some really good food. We had sushi night, Kabob night, Chocolate fondue, lots of bbqs, & stuff. My brother Phil decided to give us a good taste of freezing & helped a canoe tip with me, Arthur, Vijay, & him in it in the middle of the lake. Hypothermia kaba? death nalang. good thing the neighbour resqued us half way through it cuz we would have gotten hypothermia for sures. I don't think I've ever been so cold in my life, & man did I run to the hot tub fast. Poor arthur lost his new shoes, & ugh cooollllddd. Anyways Jaime was over the moon with happiness. She went from being with no one her age to having 4 other cousins to dance, play, & spaz with. It was so perfect in every way & we had so so much fun. Thanks to all you guys for working stuff out, coming, & doing everything else to make it happen. I'm so proud of each one of you & miss you sooo much. I have the best family in the world & wouldn't trade it for anything.
